Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking a graphics producer to work with our financial analysts, video producers, journalists and writers to create vibrant, elegant and intelligent graphics for a new, fast-paced, web based financial video newscasts service.
You will execute template/formatted graphic elements and small to mid-sized projects independently (reproduction of existing financial charts, for example) as well as attend planning meetings and organize graphic strategies for upcoming segments, participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned
In addition, you may work with other designers to aid in the creation of show opens, transitions, promotional elements, and other miscellaneous graphics requests.
A strong knowledge of international financial markets, issues and newsmakers a plus.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree or the equivalent work experience in broadcast design. Must be able to demonstrate artistic ability, have a thorough knowledge of computer graphics equipment and techniques and possess excellent spelling skills.
The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is required.
Proficient using both MAC and PC
Strong Knowledge of Photoshop, PowerPoint, Excel, Final Cut Pro and Illustrator.
Knowledge of After Effects and or Motion a plus
